Janel Steinberg has more than 12 years of public relations experience, working for a variety of clients including Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Naked Juice, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Johnson & Johnson, American Honda, House of Blues, Oracle Corporation, Nissan North America, DreamWorks Home Entertainment, Paramount Parks, University of Southern California, and the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works.

As an experienced PR professional, Janel has worked on a variety of traditional and non-traditional activities such as media and analyst relations, media training, strategic planning, events and blogger outreach for everything from new product launches to re-positioning established brands.

Janel is the lead on the Rolls-Royce account in North America. The team conducted targeted lifestyle and business media relations to generate excitement in the company’s new vehicles and to create awareness of this reinvigorated marquee brand. In addition, the team also supported Rolls-Royce’s efforts at major auto shows. These activities resulted in numerous features stories including NBC’s “Today,” several CNBC shows, Men’s Vogue and Celebrated Living, American Airlines’ premium class magazine.

Janel has also played an integral part on the Naked Juice account, overseeing the daily activities and long-term strategic planning. The team launched Naked Juice Probiotic, the first 100% juice smoothie with probiotics in North America. Additional outreach efforts have resulted in placements on “The View,” “Today,” Reuters and Associated Press, among others.

In addition to Janel’s experience at Ogilvy Public Relations, she was the in-house public relations manager for RPA, the largest independent advertising agency on the West Coast, and also worked at several boutique agencies as well as a freelance public relations professional.

Prior to entering the public relations field, Janel worked as a television producer and also reported on stories for television stations in Milwaukee and Washington, D.C.

Janel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication – Radio and Television from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
