Lucia caught the travel bug young and spent nearly a decade studying and traveling around the world. In addition to having lived in Costa Rica, Spain, Ireland and The Netherlands she had traveled through almost 40 different countries and is not even close to seeing everything on her list. Although she has yet to meet a place she did not like, some of her favorite places include Thailand, Bosnia, Slovenia and Ireland.

Lucia has been with Ogilvy PR since the summer of 2006. As information and resource manager, Lucia plays an integral role in many facets of Ogilvy’s business. Lucia is in charge of conducting and coordinating research for Chicago’s client base and new business opportunities. In this capacity she has conducted research across a wide range of consumer and corporate accounts including Quaker, Tropicana, Medela, COUNTRY Insurance and Financial, Quintiles and LexisNexis. Her new business research spans a wide range of industries - tourism,  health and nutrition, government policy, healthcare, financial, retail. She also manages the Chicago Office and plays in integral role in day-to-day operations.

Prior to joining Ogilvy PR, Lucia worked for The International Urban Development Association (INTA) in Den Haag, The Netherlands.

Lucia holds a bachelors degree in Arts and Sciences in international relations from Florida International University in Miami, Florida and a masters degree from The Universiteit van Leiden in Leiden, The Netherlands. Her degree was part of a unique combination of research based study and negotiation training from Clingendael (The Netherlands Institute of International Relations) – a main driving force behind European integration and one of the leading Diplomat Training Centers.
