Lyndsey has five years PR experience, starting her career in the Ogilvy PR London office. Her role at Pulse Communications includes implementing strategic media campaigns and managing the day-to-day running of a range of lifestyle, travel and tourism accounts.

One of Lyndsey’s core strengths lies in her excellent travel media relationships; this covers key consumer and trade journalists from metro newspapers and lifestyle magazines to broadcast and online.

These media relationships have been cemented through campaigns Lyndsey is implementing for Europe’s number one cruise company, Costa Cruises and premium resort destination, lebua Hotels & Resorts.

For Costa Cruises, Lyndsey and her team are implementing a campaign which is bringing Costa Cruises’ Italian style of cruising to life for Australians and helping to dispel some of the myths on cruising.

This is being achieved through targeted editorial activity which includes press trips on Costa Cruises’ latest cruise liners and destinations plus a series of in-depth features into the unique Italian services Costa Cruises has to offer. Since March 2009, Pulse has secured over 70 pieces of coverage reaching over 30 million Australians.

This year, Lyndsey and her team have been working with lebua Hotels & Resorts to position the resort as the ultimate, luxury New Zealand retreat. A two-pronged campaign has been implemented, firstly targeting key business and social influencers with personalised information and special offers. Secondly, a tailored media engagement program which includes launching new consumer research, coordinating bespoke press trips and profiling CEO Deepak Ohri.

Lyndsey recently managed the campaign to re-brand Australia’s much loved heritage listed landmark Old Parliament House (OPH), as Australia’s first Museum of Australian Democracy (MoAD). This campaign aimed to generate excitement and interest from Australians into the Museum and ultimately increase visitor figures. It resulted in over 180 pieces of coverage with an audience reach of over 100 million.

During Lyndsey’s time at Ogilvy PR in London (2004-2007), she worked on campaigns for Malaysia Airlines, Qantas Airlines and leading UK tourist attraction, the BA London Eye.

Lyndsey spent two years working on Malaysia Airlines, positioning the airline’s ‘New Experience’ - First and Business Class cabins as the pinnacle of long haul flying luxury to UK media. The team focused on bringing the ‘New Experience’ to life by leveraging the premium, unique cuisine available onboard. The team worked with Michelin chef Raymond Blanc (famous for his fine dining retreat, Le Manoir Au Quat’ Saisons and an aficionado of Malaysian cooking) to demonstrate the inspiring qualities of Malay cooking. Widespread national, travel and lifestyle media coverage was achieved as a result.
